Runs on the system of record you already own

In regulated industries the real system of record is often not a CRM at all. Policy administration, core banking or a distribution platform built in-house. Sharpsell connects to those over API the same way.

How it fits together

Keep the systems that run the business. Sharpsell runs frontline execution.

ERP and DMS remain the source of truth for transactions and masters. Sharpsell becomes the working system for the frontline, with AI agents acting from the same live context.

ERP · DMS · core systems

Keep the commercial backbone.

Transactions and masters continue to live in the systems already built to run them.

  • Orders and billing
  • Stock and pricing
  • Dealer and distributor masters
  • Product and commercial data
Sharpsell Sales CRM

The frontline working context.

The information needed to run the seller's day sits together in one working system.

  • Customers, dealers and sites
  • Revenue opportunities
  • Activities and commitments
  • Hierarchy, territories and workflows
AI agents

Act from live frontline context.

Agents use the same context to prepare work and move it forward.

  • Prepare the seller
  • Capture the interaction
  • Drive follow-through
  • Surface risk and manager action
Core systems stay where they belong. Sharpsell becomes the system the frontline works from every day.

Convergence

Your systems will change. The integration should not have to be rebuilt every time.

Mappings, transformations, authentication and policies sit in one controlled layer between your systems and Sharpsell. Changes on either side can be absorbed there instead of becoming a new integration project.

Send data in the format you already use.Mapping, cleanup, type conversion and deduplication happen on the Sharpsell side.
Change your data model without rebuilding the source integration. The mapping changes in Convergence while the interface on your side can stay stable.
Keep one controlled boundary.Authentication, data scope, policies and audit are enforced in one place.
Sharpsell upgrades do not move your integration. The mapping layer absorbs product changes instead of pushing rewrites back into your systems.

Governed connections

You decide what Sharpsell can read, trigger and write back.

Direction, data scope and permitted behaviour are set connection by connection. An integration gets only the access required for the work it has to do.

R

Read context

Bring approved customer, seller, product, activity or opportunity information into Sharpsell.

S

Synchronise

Keep users, hierarchy, ownership and master data aligned with enterprise systems.

T

Trigger work

Start a Sharpsell workflow when an approved event occurs in another system.

W

Write back

Return approved activities, commitments, statuses and outcomes to the nominated source.

Every write-back field is mapped. Sharpsell does not become a second source of truth.
Fits the stack you want to keep

You do not have to replace everything to change frontline execution.

The deployment model depends on which parts of your current field stack are worth keeping.

01

Replace the field app

Move overlapping SFA and field-sales workflows into Sharpsell.

ERP and DMS remain in place.
02

Work alongside it

Keep the transactional field application for the flows you still want to retain. Sharpsell runs the surrounding frontline work.

Keep what still earns its place.
03

Start greenfield

Where there is no strong field application, Sharpsell becomes the complete frontline Sales CRM.

One working system from day one.
For your IT team

The questions your IT team will ask first.

The architecture is designed to fit enterprise controls rather than create a second set of them.

Which system stays the source of truth?
Whatever you designate today: SAP, the DMS, CRM or another enterprise platform. Sharpsell holds the working context needed to run frontline workflows and agents. Transactional masters stay in the source system.
How do identity and hierarchy work?
Use your existing single sign-on and organisational sources. Reporting lines, ownership and permissions can stay aligned with your HRMS or enterprise directory instead of being maintained independently.
How often does it synchronise?
Approved write-backs can happen on the event as it happens. Reads can run on a schedule you set or on demand when a live workflow requires fresh context.
Do we need middleware or anything installed?
Sharpsell connects to enterprise systems over their APIs and through the controlled integration boundary. Standard integrations do not require software to be installed on your infrastructure.
What happens to the records Sharpsell writes if we stop?
Records, activities and fields written to your source systems remain there. They do not need to be migrated back out of Sharpsell.
Does Sharpsell query our production databases directly?
No. Data moves through the controlled integration layer rather than Sharpsell directly querying production databases.

We will map what Sharpsell should read, where it should act and what returns to the source system, against the systems you already run.
